Amsrock is a Danish artist that creates portraits of common people, with which he crosses for a few seconds, through the city streets. Called Paper People, the series consists of illustrations of men and women that come and go through the streets, sometimes invisible to everyone else’s eyes.
After drawing them, the artist fixes the image of each person in the same spot where he observed them, in attempt to recreate the moment in it’s original place.
In times when people are totally focused on themselves, Amsrock wants to emphasize who is on our close surroundings. And it seems to work. Check it out:
